Board-certified Pathologist with over 15 years of academic experience and 7 years as a Consultant in Surgical and Clinical Pathology, significantly enhancing medical education through innovative teaching methodologies. Expertise encompasses the development of curriculum, interactive learning sessions, and comprehensive evaluation strategies, ensuring students receive top-tier training in pathology. "Since July 2023, I have been serving in the Department of Pathology at Xavier University School of Medicine (XUSOM), Aruba, Netherlands Caribbean, initially as an Associate Professor, and recently promoted to the rank of Professor. Prior to this appointment, I served as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Pathology at St. George’s University, Grenada, beginning in 2022."

My responsibilities include teaching pathology to undergraduate medical students, preparing USMLE-style multiple-choice questions, conducting assessments, and developing comprehensive study materials. I am actively involved in designing course objectives aligned with USMLE guidelines and facilitating interactive teaching methods such as Team-Based Learning (TBL) and Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Additionally, I contribute to curriculum development and participate in the formulation and implementation of academic policies.

In addition to academia, I have a strong foundation in Diagnostic Pathology, with extensive experience in hematology, histopathology, cytopathology, clinical pathology, and modern diagnostic molecular pathology. My academic and diagnostic work is informed by a deep understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical applications in the field.
